The Challenge

Essential Edinburgh is the city centre's Business Improvement District. As their retained marketing and design agency, we help to develop and implement a wide array of initiatives which ensure the city centre excels as a place to work, relax, shop, visit and do business.

The Solution

Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and Chief Executive we have become an extension of Essential Edinburgh's in-house marketing team, engaging with member businesses, partners and stakeholders.

As well as helping to formulate long-term strategy, identifying and delivering key projects, we have also taken a very pro-active approach to 'ad hoc' opportunities, be they prompted by an internal 'blue sky' idea or approaches from potential partners.

The Results

Some BIG results, in every sense of the word . . . . over 1,000 city centre workers signed up to an exclusive Privilege Card; 30m high poems installed on an empty office building; hundreds of people experienced a city centre Tai Chi chill-out zone during the madness of the Festival . . . . as well as more traditional B2B and B2C communications materials - annual reports, advertising, wayfinding signage . . . . even promotional beer mats.
